In March 2024, the Victorian State Government announced its Activity Centre Program as the next step in implementing Victoria’s Housing Statement which plans to facilitate 60,000 homes close to services, jobs and transport. Moorabbin has been selected as one of 10 suburbs for the Activity Centre Program and with the building’s close proximity to Moorabbin Station, shops and amenities, this Government endorsement affirms the office building’s ideal location. Recognising a unique opportunity, the developers consolidated 7 exisiting individual titles to create an island site that incorporates four public interfaces, seamlessly integrating the building’s access and facade design with the public realm. A well-considered design by KUD Architects is realised by the use of high-quality architectural materials such as concrete, steel and curved glass; and enhanced by integrated landscaping. Upheld by the Government’s program, the development promotes meaningful and tremendous growth for the future of Moorabbin.
